Coves Noves, on Menorca's north coast: where it is and what is nearby
Coves Noves is a residential development on Menorca's north coast, in the municipality of Es Mercadal, near the port of Addaia. The LLUM villas stand on its Calle Acacias, a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic, about 20 minutes by car from Mahón airport.
Calle Acacias
The four villas occupy four adjoining plots on Calle Acacias, a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic, which gives the area a very private residential feel. The plots step down the natural slope of the land, preserving privacy between homes.
Facing east: sunrise over the sea
The villas face east and catch the first light of day over the sea. The panorama takes in the bay of Port d'Addaia, the Illa de na Macaret and the north coast.
What is nearby
- Port d'Addaia: a marina in a sheltered inlet.
- Addaia salt flats: wetlands with flamingos and Mediterranean vegetation, next to the s'Albufera des Grau Natural Park.
- Club Coves Noves: a residents' social club with tennis, padel, swimming pool, gym, restaurant and playground.
- Son Parc golf course: 18 holes among pines and dunes.
- Beaches and coves of the north coast, and services (supermarkets, pharmacies, medical centres and restaurants) a few minutes away.
An island that is a Biosphere Reserve
UNESCO declared Menorca a Biosphere Reserve on 8 October 1993, for the balance between economic activity and the conservation of its heritage and landscape.
